The logmon daemon monitors a "message log" (must be in a certain
format, see mlogwrite) and listens
to a TCP/IP port for socket connections. The Log Monitor client (a Windows 95
application) talks to the logmon daemon via a socket and
displays the log messages (in a nice GUI window that can be
queried and sorted).
